I’m Trudy, the owner and maker at Those Little Gnomes. After years of teaching and creating playful environments for under-fives, I hung up my teacher hat but couldn't let go of my love of making. I wanted to keep contributing to children's play in a joyful way. And that's how Those Little Gnomes came to be.

Together with my clever and creative partner John, we handcraft tiny gnomes and accessories that spark imagination and create memories. We believe in simple and sturdy toys made from natural materials like wood and wool. As an early years educator, I'm passionate about the play materials we give our children, and I love the whimsy and simplicity of these sweet little creatures that fit so happily into little hands.

From our home and workshop on Wiradjuri land on the western edge of the Blue Mountains in rural NSW, Australia, we’re excited to share the joy of imaginary play with you through our little gnomes.
