As parents, its tough to see our preschoolers deal with anxiety. Worry dolls may seem small, but they can make a big difference in helping your child feel calmer and more secure.
We teach our children to tell their worries to the doll…then snuggle the doll under their pillow before sleep. This helps children learn to articulate their worries, to express and share them….to pass them on to the tiny doll and relieve their own burdens.
